Finally American Idol caught up to me this year. I’ve never been an avid watcher but I think having pre-teens in the house is what got me hooked. Jason Castro was by far my favorite singer. I like his laid-back style. Well, it was nice while it lasted. Hope to see and hear more from you soon Jason.

Dang Phil. You haven’t written in a LONG time. Hopefully you’re doing great things. Still no coffee?
It was great hearing Jason sing Hallelujah again last night. We’re feeling all puffy today because our guy Mr. Cook won. What’d you think of the finale?
Dang is right. I’ve been so crazy busy between a new project at work and major home projects. Lots of stuff to talk about. Things are looking better.
I was definitely rooting for Cook last night. He was by far more entertaining than the competition.
My daughters 8 year-old friend said that she sweats when she sees Jason on the tube. The finale was great, of course my thirteen year-olds birthday party/Idol finale party was just a hoot with the girls being more entertaining at times than the show. All totalled, the volume reached a crescendo at our house when the winner was announced. I’m hoping my hearing will return sometime today
