The Jury Expert
This site went live in March 2011. The publication was originally developed in ColdFusion. The data from the old site custom site was migrated via xml to a site built on WordPress. Check out The Jury Expert to see more.
ETS-Lindgren
ETS-Lindgren is a global company with offices in the Americas, Europe and Asia. The site needed to be scalable and agile for growth including multi-lingual support in the future, accomodate a diverse product offering, User-friendly URLs, RSS for news feeds and a CMS for distributed editing. Visit ets-lindgren.com to see more.
One Day Academy
One Day Academy was completely overhauled and rebuilt in WordPress. The site has some nice custom features including drop-down navigation and a nifty schedule feature that is queried from a spreadsheet. This enables management of the site with very little training.
EMC 2009
This was a special events site built in WordPress for an international symposium. The site is not longer active.
TechTourSite
This site, built in WordPress, was expanded to three sites by region. What started out as a small event last year is growing in size and scope. The site was reworked to better accommodate the ongoing series of workshops. Check out techtoursite.com to see more.
Flash Kiosks and Video

Probably one of the best uses for Flash is for tours and touch-screen kiosks. I revamped and developed a series of flash product tours for the website and trade shows. Check out some of the tours at ets-lindgren.com/videos.
CedarRidgeChurch.net
The site is initially clean and simple in its design, but it was a fairly quick way to get up and running with a functional site that the church needed. I used a WordPress install and tweaked the site to suite. The site is no longer active.
AMTA 2006
This was a special event site for a conference here in Austin this past Fall. It was fun to develop because it involved taking a limited site and reworking it to be more full-featured for the event. The site is no longer active on the web.Concordia University at Austin
I worked for five and a half years at Concordia University at Austin. Concordia was a great place to work and experiment with new technology. While there I developed a Content Management System for the School, did a good amount of Flash development and had the opportunity to take photos to fuel the design work. This site concordia.edu was developed as a home-grown CMS in Coldfusion. It has changed dramatically from this design. No surprise, the university itself has moved to a new location!

Phil,
Dani Barnett here…long time no talk! I love your site! Maybe some day I can be a genius like you and have a fun job! I’m trying to get some part-time work doing graphics/web design and I was wondering if I could use you as a reference? I don’t have any contact information on you since you left CUA. Hope life’s treating you well!
