Acrobat 9

Just released, Adobe Acrobat 9 is a major upgrade offering many slick new features such as:

Check-out the Acrobat 9 Product Comparison for the differences between Acrobat 9 Standard, Pro and Pro Extended.

It’s amazing to think what this will mean for web publishing and presentation of dynamic information. For instance, instead of a simple spec sheet for a product, why not incorporate 3D views of the product, audio descriptions and video tutorials all in a portable format that is cross-plaform compatible

    Many missionaries use Acrobat to send updates, etc. I don’t know how many of them use the security features, but it’d be really cool for them to embed a movie or other media in their updates…

    Hey, thanks for dropping by. Glad you like it. I have recently regained steam and posting much more regular than a few months back.

    Yes, I think the possibilities are amazing with the new version of Acrobat. PDF isn’t great for everything, but for stuff like newsletters it works well.

    Many folks use Acrobat as a simple converter. I’m looking forward to some creative folks getting a hold of it and see what they do.
