Finding a Good Domain Name with “Bust A Name”
Posted on August 7, 2007
As one who has more ideas than they know what to do with, I regularly search domain registries to see if a certain domain is available or find a domain that fits a new idea. It’s a past-time of mine to think of all the great sites I could be developing. Perhaps I should spend my time actually building a new site instead of dreaming about them. Still the thoughts come in droves, so this habit is fed daily by my inquisitive brain. I recently stumbled upon a site that I find addictive. Bustaname.com enables the user to list several words and it searches for combinations that are available. From the site you can save and purchase from the registry of your choice. I currently have four or five business ideas running through my brain and it’s been interesting to see all of the possibilities listed. Maybe someday I’ll launch my premiere .com and be another "overnight success" you hear about. Until then, I’ll keep on the look-out for some really great names.

So is thinking about writing a book like dreaming of a business? At least you actually work. What’s my excuse? Sheesh.
Kelly, Why need an excuse? Is our intrinsic value wrapped-up in monetary gain? Life itself is one sort of experiment. But yeah, I do believe authoring a book is something similar to starting a business. In fact, as of late, I’ve been contemplating writing a book myself, though it’s been somewhat of a whimsical thought to date. I haven’t really fleshed-out any solid ideas or direction. My most recent thought is to write a short e-book and publish it as a pdf to my site. Maybe a guide or something to just get started. I may do that.
