So I see that you are the one whom I have to thank in partaking in such a wonderful meme. For once it was one that was fun and sould searching. I love your site and I so want to thank you for dropping in to visit mine. I have finally gotten the re-design completed. I am so sorry that you did visit when I was in such a mess. Hair is overrated? That’s hilarious. And I actually agree since mine is mostly wrapped up in a band of sorts from one day to the next, and my ana-mules drop their’s all over my house.

I’m with you all the way on points 8 and 9. Math too can be more art than science (see some of my recent geeky posts).

I think we understand much more of the world around us through the stories we tell than through direct study. The later while granting much that can be number crunched by computers fails to address our relationship to the knowledge discovered.

Einstein’s “miracle year” started with the paper on Brownian Motion which was kicked off by him “day dreaming” about his cup of tea he was drinking.
